Income Tax Calculations at 4:00 A.M

Well, I couldn't sleep for some reason & got up at 4:00 A.M ( MidNight, by my standards ).

I wanted to somehow get back to sleep. I assumed that the best way would be to do something I considered boring - I took up some Income Tax Calculations !

I always considered IT Calculations to be a proven cure for insomnia. Well, I just started off to test it ...

The biggest mistake I did was to open MS Excel & juggle with the calculations....as a techice, I got totally engrossed in manipulating Excel to do the stuff for me. For example, I created a bar chart & noticed that the variance in the Professional Tax deviation was zero for 1 full year ( mush to to amusement of my dad, who pointed out that it hadn't changed in a long long long time....:) )! Well, the "techie" in me got carried away too far.....:(

I found it to be really fascinating. It went on till 8:00 & then I had to rush to Office...

I never knew it was interesting...planning to explore it at a later date.....
